The fragility and deterioration of the human form influences me. The reality of our mortality is one that is continuously ignored until the realization of afflictions occur; my work conveys the actuality of the stages between perfection and corrosion. Within these stages insecurity, ignorance, anger, pain, fear, sorrow, imperfection, and mental instability occur on emotionally intense levels. This is what comes through in my work.
